A collaborative effort to design a dancing robot for a girl at a local elementary school. Per her request she wanted a lilo and stitch themed robot. Arduino, laser cutting, stepper motors, and DC motors were utilized to assemble the robot. Acrylic was cut into puzzle like pieces to create the rocket which enclosed the electronics. Arduino moved the arms and rocket via stepper motor and drive train. Finally, all subsystems were synchronized with LED lights to move with a song.
